Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter! This is Abby's first Easter. Her and I stayed home from church, but the other girl's got all dressed up in their best dresses and went to Sacrament Meeting with Daddy! I am trying to keep the exposure to other children to a minimum. The girl's are with Dad right now at their Grandma Pat's house. They are having an Easter Egg Hunt and dinner there. So fun! Here are some fun pictures we took today of the girl's! EnjoY!!!

BABY HAS ARRIVED

Well, we had our baby! FIVE WEEKS EARLY! It took Mike and I completely off guard. On Tuesday March 11 I began contracting and they were about four to five minutes apart and increasing in intensity. I went to Labor and Delivery and they monitored me trying to get the contractions to stop. I was given SO MANY SHOTS of medicine. Nothing seemed to stop the contractions and i was dialating and thinning fast. The nurse after talking to the doctor comes in and says, "Okay we are having this baby in 20 minutes." They did a cesarian and Mike and I were not prpared at all. We had no camera or anything. Thank goodness for camera phones. Needless, to say Abigail Ruth Carver was born at 5:01 am Wednesday March 12, 2008. She weighed 6 pds 13 oz. and 19 inches long. She was huge for being 5 weeks early. She was breathing on her own and all vitals were great, but she had severly low blood sugar and had to be admitted into the NICU at Mckay Dee hospital. She was there for a week and we barely took her home yesterday. Since I had a ceserian, I was able to stay in the hospital for a week and after that they let me board in the room for free. It was very intense, but nothing ompared to our experience with Halle.
to top off the week,Mylee our oldest has been running a high fever and may possibly have strep throat. So, we have to be so careful around here. Anyways gotta go..Abby is hungry...

I was just thinking today about Halle and how well she has been doing this winter compared to her last two winters and I can't help but feel blessed. She has been so healthy and so active and is really progressing. She is a ball of energy. Lately she has really loved to sing. She will sing everything but her favorites are the Mulan song and the beauty and the Beast song. I am going to record her sweet little voice it is so amazing the things she is learning. We were told when she was diagnosed with her syndrome that 95% of the children that have been researched have severe mental delays. She has been so fortunate. She is actually ahead of the curve on a lot of her skills. Especially her language. I catch myself just starring at her and Mylee and just not believing how you can feel so much love and responsiblity at the same time. It is truly amazing and one of the things I have truly enjoyed about being a mother!

Mylee's dance class

These are some shots of Mylee at her dance class. It was parents day and she was so cute in class. It is so fun to see what she is learning she loves dance. I can't get her to take her leotard and tights off when she is finished. She sleeps in it. So cute. Mylee loves everything about dance. They do Ballet, Tap, and Jazz.
